Medusa worm?

Is this a Medusa worm? He moves around to different areas and stretches out very far at times. He has a few small little tentacle that surround his mouth or head or whatever it is.

A better picture, especially of the mouth parts would be a big help. I've never seen one that color before, it's kinda pretty!

In the first picture it looks like I see tube like feet so I'm going to say a type of sea cucumber.

Just stubbled across this looking for info on Medusa worms (which I guess are sea cucumbers). Also found some info stating they can be toxic ti tank life so he may not be going back in.

Can you touch it and tell us if it is sticky?

Yes a medusa worm is part of the sea cucumber family. The difference between the two is that sea cucumbers have tube like feet that help them move around surfaces and Medusa worms don't. Instead they are covered in very sticky cells that help it hold on to surfaces. (And stick to our fingers)

Aright then. Settles that! Guess he won’t be returning with his risk of being toxic. I’ve had too many bad breaks early in my reefing career. Can’t risk anything.

Before you dispose, offer it for free on the livestock marketplace if recipient pays shipping.

There has gotta be someone crazy enough out there to give this medusa worm a home!
