I noticed this in my pod tank yesterday and deeper looking noticed a bunch on my cheato all grouped together. After searching lionfishlair.com I pretty sure these are Hydroids - Medusae. If says not an issue unless breeding tank so question is would they be ok in a pod tank? its technically a breeding tank but not sure in the same term the website uses. will these eat pods? any reason to leave or remove? Thanks

The Medusae Hydroids tend to go away on their own. They do eat Small plankton and particulate matter so if you are breeding pods I would be concerned about competition for food source.

Sometimes, they hang around just not in plague proportions... I just found tons of them on my glass in a very established rock curing tank. They seem to coexist well with my pods thus far... and super cool to watch, really...

Just found on that is fully developed and moving from spot to spot on my glass...
