Langston is my mantis shrimp. He was sold as a Caribbean rock shrimp, I believe N. wennerae, but I have my suspicions. Can anyone get a positive ID on him and if he is indeed a he or she, and a spearer or smasher? A member recommended RC forums but for some reason my account is always invalid so I'm over it. Also how do I upload a video, it is easier to see him.
A little bit about him, I've had him for a day and when first dropped in he was already hunting the ghost shrimp in the tank. His kind of burrows (which makes me believe he is a spearer) but very shallow and his burrow is right underneath a rock where there was already a natural cave. He is very curious and I already love him to death. This picture is him in the bag from yesterday. Let me know if you guys need a clearer picture
