meeting Aug 20th

There will be a meeting at my house this Sat. Aug 20th 1pm. I know not much notice, just kinda happened. I have a built-in 180 SPS tank. So if you would like to come let me know & i'll get you directions (it's almost to Dunlap).

OK sounds like we want to do lunch. I can cook some dogs and or burgers. So every one just post what you can bring & we'll see what is still needed come Fri.

I wouldn't worry about food. We can talk about it there (having food at future meetings). Probably an expense that can be avoided.

Jim, I'm not sure that everybody can access the CRC private forum to see directions. Anybody new won't get it. Did you PM anybody else directions? I sent them to Strike.

Thank you for hosting the meeting. Your set up has renewed the interest to get my new tank up and running as well as several ideas to handle some installation issues I have been debating.

I would like to get some more new people in the club. What do you think about a little advertising? Where could we advertise the club, paper, radio, post some thing at the pet shops, what about some place online?

There are a ton of ways to advertise for free. Facebook comes to mind first. We could start a FB page for the club and then recruit that way as well as use places like craigslist and other free avenues.
