Has anyone here purchased any zoas from him? I am looking to possibly buy some. They look very colorful, but I am not sure if they will retain that color, or if the color is even that true.
Does the "Cornbred" lineage really make them that much different/better? For example if I were to purchase the Cornbred God of War zoas from megret and place them next to God of War zoas purchased elsewhere, will I see a noticeable difference?
I am still very new to all this and I love zoanthids and I am drawn to his eBay posts. The photos are incredible.
Any replies would be appreciated.
Thank you
Fern

he has some really nice stuff...i would say they get doctered up a little, i have bought lots from him....

I have to say his pics do the stuff he has NO JUSTICE at all 90% of the time. I've been to his house and his stuff is INSANE (his 800 gallon DT is better the wwc's tank IMO). High quality and super healthy stuff for sure!

Buy with confidence.... He has great livestock... Always healthy and colorful stuff. I have never gone wrong buying from him

he has some legit crazy nice stuff! photos are pretty close rep of what they look like..

I too have been there in person and seen and bought from him. If you only have daylight MH you will not get the colors in any palys you see anywhere. However if you have any type of LEDs, you will not be disapointed with any of his stuff. The type of lighting will def affect the "look" of any coral - SPS, LPS, Z/Ps.

Thank you all for all the input. In summary, looks like the photos, even though doctored (no pun intended), do pretty much reflect what his corals do look like under LED's. Those who have purchased from him are satisfied with purchase and those who have seen his corals first hand have been inpressed.
However, no one has addressed the "Cornbred" issue. does this lineage make these zoas superior/better in any way. If you don't want to post a reply here you can pm me, lol.

I think his name holds as much weight as jf, wwc, etc...I am more likely to buy his name or Jason foxx versus wwc or a store just because they're out of their house versus your typical chop shop store. His quality control is really good too.

People will argue about the re-naming but what most don't realize is he, Jason, and wwc all go to same wholesalers in south fl often (or so I've been told and see new releases often from those 3 at same time with different names) just my 4 cents

Sometimes its very hard to photo what coral looks like under led.
His pics are pretty close to what the coral will look like under led .
I have always been very happy with what I have purchased from him.

Thank you Danka, your reply really helps me out. I am using only LEDs.
