Melafix and pimafix harming my tank?

Your quandary is the exact reason there are all these "reef safe" products on the market - but since there is no oversight to the aquarium tonic market, products are sold all the time that simply do not work. None of the ingredients in these products show up in veterinary or public aquarium treatment texts....that tells us something right there.

@LeftyReefer is giving you the solution. It isn't easy, and you may still lose fish, but hunting and pecking for reef safe treatments always fails when there is active disease.....

I guess we will see if they work or not first. If they don't then I will pursue a QT setup. Which will take time so I'm looking for a fast solution first.

What Jay is saying and agreed , most are alternatives and not solutions. For a bath, ok but not for remedy

Petco has all their rimmed Aqueon tanks on sale for 50% off right now.
A 20g long is on sale for $25.
They have a 200w Aqueon heater for $17.
They have a Aqueon HOB filter for $25 (10% off)

you said you already have a pump and air stone, so all set there.

Looks to me like you could have a QT setup today, for $67.
Not a long time to acquire and certainly not big bucks.

Would Just need copper, which any LFS should carry.

Having a QT is always going to be a good idea longer term. I certainly need one also.

I have had great success with Polyplabs Medic. It is reef and invertebrate safe and you can use in your display tank.

I will try it if ruby reef doesn't work alone.

I ordered ruby reef rally pro, ruby reef kick ick pro, polyp labs medic, and ruby reef hydroplex. Going to get some red sea testers soon as well. Will update this thread in 2 or 3 weeks after Tuesday. To let you all know how it's going.
