Went to the lfs today to look for a melanurus wrasse which I found. But also they had a male leopard wrasse!! And wow what a beautiful fish. I bought the melanurus cause of his size and it suiting the size of my tank right now. Im still thinking of the leopard wrasse tho!..lol

They can both live together just fine. Leopards can be hard though. If it is eating at the fish store that would help a lot with the long term success of the fish.

You should have placed an option for both :), because eventually that's what I want. First though will be a Melanurus!!!

The melenurus is super hardy; given the mortality rate of LFS fish I'd go with him. The leopard is definitely a stunning fish, thought. Just in case you didn't know, they both need sand beds to sleep in.

I have two leopards and a melanarus! And a solar and a mystery and a Lubbocks! All very compatible in my tank.
