Hello everyone! I need opinions/thoughts. My Melanurus Wrasse seems to have a jaw injury. I first noticed it yesterday. His behavior seems somewhat normal except I’m thinking he does seem a little stressed as he has lost his pep and has been hiding a bit more than usual. My flame angel seems to be keeping him company. They are good friends. My main concern is that he seems to have an appetite, but can only eat tiny bits that seem to just flow into his mouth that is gaping open. I want to know how long it could take him to recover and will he starve before he can recover? Or will he never recover? Is this a lost cause? Thank you all for the help!

Looks okay too me. If it ran into a rock all you can do is keep feeding it what it can eat and give it time. Just watch for infection.

Thank you so much for replying. I’ll be sure to just give him time.

Here are a couple of better pictures. Just in case.
