Melanurus Wrasse Without Sand?

Wanted to add this fish in my 315 gallon bare bottom display to manage flatworms, can they be house without sand?

In the same way a snake can live in a box without light or space, it would not be ideal. Maybe you can provide some storage containers with sand if you really wanted the wrasse

I couldn’t imagine keeping mine in a tank without sand. They sleep in the sand and mine dive bombs the sand at least a couple times a day looking for food. I agree with dvgyfresh that at least storage containers with sand would be needed.
