Melting Light

Noticed that AI Prime 16HD is melting today. I have 3 on the tank, all running on same schedule. Fan is running and screen is clean... 15 inches from water surface. One is melting, the other two are fine.
Not a pleasant surprise to find.

Typical for AI primes from my experience. I have one over my refugium that I just removed the lense and bought a 3d printed diffuser. Out of curiosity, what settings did you run and how often did you clean the fan filter?

I have them on a one hour ramp up, and then four hours at 80% white and 100% blues, and then a two hour ramp down. With moon lights at 10% 24 hours. The fans were cleaned about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and I was checking them to see if they needed to be cleaned when I noticed the melt. I usually clean them every couple of months as needed.... and they were not needing to be cleaned.

all three run the same, and just the one melted....it might have a hot LED or something?

Are the violets and UV at 100%? I think those channels are what melt the lenses. Do the others show some burning or melting of the lense?

Yes...violet and UV are at 100...I am now cutting them back to 80%
I don't think it will make much difference...but ya never know.
