Does this look like it's melting to you? It's only happining to this 1 polyp? Nothing has changed in my tank, no flow change, no feeding change, no new corals added.. It's been in the same place for a few weeks now.. What should I do? Is it to late? Sorry for the bad pic

In my short experience, it looks like that one polyp may melt. It seems like they do this for no apparent reason. I've have zoas close for months and then open up later like nothing is wrong and sometimes they just dont come back. I'm sure some experts out there will chime in and pinpoint causes for this...if there are any.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like the polyp is being enveloped. I've had polyps turn into a mass of tissue and return later as a polyp. Strange, but it happens........

If they are the Hawaiian Ding Dangs then yes its normal. Mine do it about once a month and then they look great again. It must be a cycle that they go through. Of course it would not hurt to give them a dip just in case this is not the issue.

If they get any worst maybe try the Iodine injections I did a thread on. I have saved more than one zoa with this method. Only Iodine I have ever used is Kent's super iodine so don't ask me about any other kinds cause I don't know. I use this kind for dips whether for healing, fragging and whatever and it works great.

Where did you buy yours from? Doubt anybody around here carries it
I think every place here carries it. You can also get it at Marine Depot and most online reef supply dealers.
And as FiReBReTHa said, Petland too if one near you.
