I have the nest cams. I still do not think they work with the Neptune Apex.

My concern would be privacy and having a link live all the time. It is nice when the glass is clean to pop in and check on the tank though.

My concern was that aswell my webcam is in my bedroom and I know a lot others are in the living room. I just wouldn’t want Reefing strangers to have that much access. I think this would be really cool everyone linking our tanks if we didn’t all spend substantial amount of time there living our private lives. But that’s just my two cents!

An office tank or something possibly, but I agree. That's too much loss of privacy. Maybe try some YouTube videos or lapse videos of tanks?

I forgot to post my tank. this is my home office tank and I would still feel like someone was watching me all day. I do like the aspect of when I am not there that I can pop in and see what is happening

most people who use ip cams for their tanks have the webcam only pointed at the tank. so you can’t see anything else going not. not really sure what you guys are envisioning here. lol. this is not about privacy from peeping toms. people who have these cameras know the score.

I'd love to see some. Previously I've found a couple that showed only the tank (no privacy problems). I wish I had saved those links.

Never thought about the peeping Tom aspect. I mean, I could at least charge .99 a minute for watching coral. Maybe more if the clowns get freaky. :)

I will try to get one late today- the one with the full view is just sitting on a shelf, and the one for the tank is velcroed to the canopy of the tank and the image is rotated in camera settings.
