I need some ideas for our Pros vs Cons series!

I don't know if it's been done, but I'd particularly like to see deep sand bed vs thin sand bed/bare bottom.

I was thinking about my suggestion and actually I think a more general discussion of sand vs bare bottom might be more fruitful.

Some other ideas:

Growth rates: fragging vs. non-fragging
Long vs tall vs cube tanks
