Mentoring Thread for New Reefers

This! After reading some 'heated' discussions, my head spins on trying to figure out which direction I personally should take on certain things. Also, sometimes newbies can feel embarrassed and don't want to put certain things out there in public eye. Sometimes fear of backlash has an impact also.

. A good Mentor to me - would be someone nearby, whom you trust. That said - not every mentor is going to have the knowledge base of the collective of the people here. You should never be embarrasses to post here

You will find the “message” feature on this forum useful for getting “off stage” and talking with someone, where no one has to show off or worry about talking in front of an audience.
