Going downhill quickly sad to say. I talked to live aquaria already and sent them pictures. Im just waiting on them to respond.
Mine did the same opened real nice for a week or 2 then opened less and less then just melted away. Not uncommon with elegance corals. Doubt it was anything you did. Searching about problems with them found folks say they either do well or melt away. Many theorys about where they were collected and how deep has a lot to do with it. My water Params were good all my other corals are growing and doing well, just not the elegance [emoji53]
Hate watching $120 coral melt and not being able to do anything about it.

I had no idea who he was. The tour guide we had the next day says he's rich and just won a big law suit, so he's out there with a rubber chicken yelling jibberish at people for FUN!! lol We saw some pretty great characters out there.

Yes, it's frustraiting, but I did get my replacement coral it's doing quite well. At least, it was when I left for NY and the lights arn't on above the tank so I can't see the state my tanks are in just yet. (i just got home an hour ago) We will see in the AM.

It's sliding downhill rather slowly. It sucks, but I dont see anything I can do for it at this point. The new one is looking great and the new fish are doing well in the QT. I haven't dosed any meds yet, but I only just got back so we shall see what happens next.

I don't think i posted pictures of my new acros. Gottem at a 50% off sale. I just cant pass up a great deal. The bigger one came with an acro crab living in it. Its pretty cute, though i don't know much about them.

Little update though right quick.. I lost all three anthias all in one day! They were perfectly fine and eating frozen. I wasn't home as much as I wanted to be after first getting them, so I didn't treat until the until 4 days ago when I added prazipro. The three anthias all died the second day after that. I'm pretty sure the leopard wrasse is still alive, though she only comes out of the "sand box" in the morning for a couple hours then goes back in. It's hard to not worry when I can't see her most of the day. I have seen her eat frozen mysis also, which is good news. (ehem... the pictures dont include the QT fish... or any fish at all actually) lol

Thanks! I'm surprised since I haven't been paying a whole lot of attention to it lately. I'll start giving it more love in the coming weeks and maybe it will just blossom into something amazing!

Just to update: I lost all 3 dispar anthias in QT on the same day. I'm not too sure why because they were eating ok and acting normal, but I suspect it had to do with them being rather frail and finicky. I've heard they are difficult fish to get acclimated and happy. So now I just have the Blue Star Leopard wrasse in QT. She's pretty much the laziest fish ever. She comes out of her sand box for a little bit, swims around, eats if I catch her while she's out, then goes back to "bed". I wonder if she's lonely and depressed in there all alone like that. Oh well, second round of prazi is in and I'll be considering running her through copper before going into the DT.
