Merediths 75g upgrade

Sorry for your loss

It's ok. I'm looking at getting 3 more or trying a different anthia... maybe lyretail anthias. I can get a better price on the dispars this time around, but I may have passed up my chance to get the better price per.

If at first we don't succeed;

I bet you it is a Trapezia acropora crab. They are very beneficial to sps corals. They clean the spaces imbetween the branches and do their best to protect it form predators, in return they just take a little food during feeding time or anything edible that gets caught in the acro.

They sell them on DD if you want to see a picture of one

That's cool! He looks really similar to this, but of course I can't see much of him since this acro is rather dense. The crab is the main reason I bought this coral too! For those that are curious... this is the picture from LA

Yeah a year ago I got a couple acros from a frag swap and when I got them in my tank I realized these where in all of them, I was thrilled when I found out because earlier I had considered buying one for me pollicapora, unfortantley my tank crashed a few months later and the acros (and the crabs) didn't make it:(

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you got everything back up and running again!

Its a terrible picture and im probably jinxing things with it, but here she is! Shes much larger than the others that were sent in our order. Originally they said she was a "super male", though they must not know what they are talking about at all. So, i spotted her out of "bed" again and fed some frozen (a mix of stuff i cant remember what all) and she ate a few pieces. Its great news since i just put the second round of prazi in today. Im hoping she gets more assertive before going into the DT.

I'm just about ready to start my 55 gallon and I'm jealous, looks good here

Thanks for the compliment! Dont be jealous though, anybody can do this with a little hard work and lots of research. :D

Beautiful! I would like to get a pair of Leopard Wrasse.

I'm really liking this Blue Star.... she's a real beauty. I thought about getting a pair, but decided against it. I wanted to get the anthias more and I feel like I may be at the end point of fish additions with this tank after the anthias. You definitely should though! They are so pretty!

Nice, I haven't made it over there in a couple years.. I'll have to make a trip over, once I am allowed to drive again...

I really think that I will, when my tank is better established. I just ordered a Starry Blenny & a One Spot Foxface.

I like it. Most of the people there really care and do everything they can for the fish we have.

Nice! Starry blennies are so neat and have so much personality! The one spot is a great choice too.... my personal favorite is the magnificent foxface though after having one for a while at the store. They are both great fish though!
