Hi all, posted similar post in water chemistry forum as I think I may be missing something but after a burnt tip issue like two to three months ago, due to zero nutrients and Alk creeping up, some corals still seem stressed with mesenterial filaments out often more so after feeding, while others have recovered and seem normal. current water parameters are Alk 7, cal 450, mag 1350, po4 .1ppm, no3 10ppm, ph 7.9-8.2, sal 1.025, temp 78-79. Any thoughts?

Patience? I had a similar (still having it) - after a huge alkalinity spike after a doser malfunction.

Thanks for the input. I thought so too, just weird and wanted some thoughts. At this point other sps have regrown tissue over their burnt tips. Most small frags didnt make it but most large colonies seem to be almost fully recovered and getting color back but some are still acting weird not as recovered so worried still have an issue on my hands.

One thing I've noticed - coral that I thought was 'gone' now has regrowth. Some has not recovered. My main point was your parameters seem on point. The only other thing I might recommend would be running carbon. And I assumed that you have done some water changes etc. My alkalinity spiked to >25 (triple checked). Its now down to 13. Baseling was about 8

Yes. Like 4 10-15% Water changes over the last 2-3 months. icp test for tank and RO water. Nothing flagged. Not running carbon but will try running some.
