Anyone using a mesh cover on their tank? I've been looking at fish online and a few that I'm interested in are jumpers. I'd hate to lose a fish because I wasn't prepared..

Thanks for the link. It's pretty cheap too. Does it affect your lighting at all?

I have not tested par, the strands are very thin and clear. I'll do some par testing this week and post the results here.

This is my mesh from BRS and screen frames from Home Depot.

I've made them before and my advice would be netting from brs and then go to lowes, home depot for the rest of the material. I purchased everything from brs and then for curiosity looked at lowes and it was like a third of the price. It is tricky to get the netting tight and keep the whole thing square, just take your time and don't rush and you should have any jumpers!

I sold mesh on this forum over a year before BRS even started, hehehe!

They are great for reef tanks. If you have any concerns about jumpers, it is the way to go.
