Mesh Size

In everyone’s experience, does 1/4 inch mesh work as a DIY aquarium top, or would a mandarin/clown/diamond goby or royal gramma be able to jump through or get stuck. What’s the best mesh size to keep jumpers at bay?

I think 1/4 is pretty good! I have a blue spot jawfish that constantly kept trying to jump out and it kept him in

I hope so. That's the size I just ordered. My clowns are less than an inch and I think it will be fine.
