Hey, I have a goby who has been throwing sand on all my corals. Do you think I need to re home him? I really don't want to, but my corals have been closed most of the time since I've gotten him.

Well he's probably not going to stop doing that. I have a pistol shrimp paired with a yellow watchman goby and have the same issue with anything on the sandbed. If you can't move the coral away from him, you may need to rehome him.

Yeah they are great at keeping the sand pristine but a royal pita with spewing the sand over everything down low. Have to weigh the options of which maintenance you’d rather do: cleaning the sand or blowing it off the corals.

I had a Goldenhead Sleeper Goby that did that.. He removed himself from the equation Sunday.. Found him on top of my eggcrate top.. I have one 1 1/2 inch cut out for feeding, he somehow found it and jumped thru and expired..
Carpet anemone got a treat that day... no more sand sifters for me..
