Metal clip in reef tank

Hi I have red sea 170 fish tank been runni g for 2 months now and i have 2 zoas frags that been closed for week now ,ive tested the water everything seems fine , so i wanted to change the carbon today and I notice the metal clip rusted and its in the water any idea how to fix this issue, should I do big waterchange i have 2 clown fish and 2 chromis and some snails .

I have removed the metal clip and I used cable ties
