I just purchased 2 250w de pulsrite 20k does any one here have any photos of their tank using them? How long did it take for them to burn in for you?

I ran them years ago, they aren't quite as blue as other 20k but for the price you will like the look as long as it's being driven by a good ballast. Now the longevity of the bulb is another story. Expect to swap them out in 4-6 months if your lucky. They will shift in spectrum and it will be noticeable

Iv been running 14k bulbs for quite some time bulbs are appx 3 years old. Think I went a little long lol never had an issue with a shift. I appreciate the info and will watch for it with these bulbs

3 years that's awesome! I never tried to pushing a mh anywhere near that long.

Haha I don't know about that but they still worked and everything was still growing haha maybe not at spectacular rates but growing

Not the greatest pic but have switched to the 20 k bulbs few months ago and seems to be doing great. But would much rather go led but for now these are working great

I had brown alge flare up for just about a week or so then everything went back to normal
