Metal Halide Bulb?

I apologize because I am sure someone has asked before, but I am picking up either a Radium 20K 150W or a Phoenix 14K 150W bulb tomorrow for my tank. Was curious which one you sps heads recommend these days.

I had better growth using the phoenix but had better colors with the radium and still had pretty good growth as well. Honestly you couldn't go wrong with either one in my opinion. I kinda wish radium made a de 250...

I used them both for a long time. The 150w Radium stinks for sps growth IMO but has the best color. The Phoenix was more blue but with better growth.

I always recommend the Phoenix for 150w.

Ya...for the budget minded the Phoenix is hard to argue against. Lotsa people have echoed your experience.

I do think Radiums look better if budget allows. (And I noticed no growth impediments vs other 20K's, but I'm not farming corals so wasn't too concerned with growth rates.)
