Does anyone know where I can find cheap metal halide + t5ho lighting for a decent price?


If you have this combo, let me know how your zoas are doing in terms of growth?

Perhaps if you build your own or buy them separated you could find a good deal.
As for the growth, MH and T5s will give you the best combination IMO!!!
If you go T5s only you would have great growth also. I prefer T5s only because MH emits lots of heat.

Please keep in mind that not only light plays with zoas' health, growth, colors and reproduction.

bro, check out the dry goods for sale here on our very own R2R. thereʻs hot deals butcha gotta be quick! btw i was running a triple threat (giesemann neptune pro 48" w/ 250w 14k phoenix bulbs x2, T5 ATI purple plus x2, and 48" reefbrites all blue x2. IT WAS THE SICKEST COMBO hands down for everything from sps to lps to zoas to even clams. you can get a chiller if heatʻs an issue but then the elec-treecity goes up!
