Good? Bad? or Worse?

I'm currently "trying" 150w 14k Phoenix bulb w/ 2x 24w ATI True Actinic and 2 focal LEDs about 10 LEDs each bulb. The colors give out is ok I guess but not as vibrant as those who have reef tank running the same type of light. I'm still debating over if I should continue to use LED or give the old-school fixture a try. What do you guys think? oh and maybe because of the T5 bulbs I'm thinking switch it to ATI Blue+ is gonna give more blue instead of purple color.

I had a similar setup over a 40 I had but it was a 250watt radium with 2 ati blue+. No leds but it colored up brown sps like crazy. I now run a 6 bulb t5 with blue leds sups. And love the color. The leds add that little bit of pop. I am not a big fan of just leds but I never gave a high end fixture a solid chance.

Not sure what you are asking. I run a fixture with 3 150W 10k MH (XM HQI) with 8 39W T5's (420nm Super Actinics). If you are asking about SPS growth, growth is phenomenal under these lights. If you are asking about colors, the 10K and 420nm actinic combination gives a full spectrum white effect, accentuating all colors while making the fluorescent coral pop. I believe the ATI Blue Plus adds more purple (420nm) compared to the straight actinic (460nm)

Ok went to the store bought two ATI Blue+, thought the blue color will blend w/ the 14k. Gonna install it soon. see how it goes

i run phoenix 14k with 4 ati blue +...love the color...if u want bluer...radiums and t5s

radiums has 150 de..but no 250's...

if u want bluer nice coral pop radiums...phoenix with t5 blue+ is good but if u want bluer, radium is the way to go...

What are your water parameters like? I would look at the before the lighting for color, as your setup has plenty of good stuff on it to make corals grow well and color up.
