gonna purchase some new lights for my tank. i wanna get some 175w 14k. looking at hamilton, ushio, or coral view. what are your opinions. what one is best for highest par? any other brands good to get?

I just replaced mine with XM 14k. I could not be happier with the colors it brought out.

yeah i use the 20 k xm's and the look is great i plan on adding some supplement lighting but its already has allot of blue to it

I like the 175W Ushio 14K. I've got them paired with VHO's and get decent color. Not really enough blue for me, but it works.
