Anyone else out there still growing this one? I have grown a lot of Montipora in my day, and this one stands out in both its unusualness and its finickiness.

Here it was in full glory in its prime. Sadly it looks nothing like this any more and is various monotone brown blobs or booger frags having nearly lost battles with encroaching algae over many many months.

If you have it, how are you making it happy??

I looked tonight and if I squint I can get a whiff of purple in the brown blob that is the remnant of that colony pictured. Maybe my recent stability and higher alk will turn it around, who knows.

yup I got it from Adam years ago in a frag pack on RC. Mine more like Adams first picture. tan with purple tips
