Have had meteor shower cyphastrea for a week

polyps really dont seem to wanna open

currently at bottom portion of tank-bout 3 inch from bottom

their is flow that kicks off the glass on end from gyre-gyre is on opposite end of tank-

has kenya trees above it that shades it-

maybe too much shade?

lights are radion xr15 pro gen 5-sit about 6-8 inches above tank top

180g so dimension height is 24 inch

only other spot i have it ab open area-moderate flow-that sits aviut 10-12 inches up from bottom

looking for feedback-give it time-give it a move

looking to hear back for those with experience on cyphastrea

Give it time. They are pretty forgiving. Low light will give them deeper color. High light will give lighter color.

There really isn't much for poly extension or opening for these types of coral. I have one on mod light, one in partial shade and one in full shade. All are encrusting slowly but nothing very visible with polyps. Just the way they are.
