Hijacking this valuable old thread here... how did you mount your mechanical float switch(es) in your sump for low water detection in the return chamber? Mine is full of water and the sump is made of glass so drilling is out of the question. Hmm...

I used an old Mag-Float. I cut a small piece of acrylic and drilled it to accept the floats as well as to snugly fit RO tubing for my topoff and water change lines, then glued it to the Mag Float.
