I'm thinking about modifying my QT process for future efforts. I'm thinking about adding a methylene blue bath for new arrivals.

Would a 30 methylene bath be benifical to fish that have spent ~24 hours in a bag? (Overnight Shipping)

If a QT is at ~1.0 ppm of copper can you mix methylene into the water? (for a bath not dosing the QT)

Methylene blue is pretty old school, I only use it to treat saprolegnea fungus on FW fish and eggs.
Don’t dose it higher than 2mg/l as a bath. I wouldn’t dose it with copper as the blue color will mess up you reading any test results.
For overnight shipments, a proper acclimation method is much more important - you need to manage the ammonia toxicity as it relates to the changing pH.

There is nothing wrong with using old school practices provided they are used correctly.

OP - if you want to know about how fresh water dips and baths are used as part of introduction of animals (fish) to your system be it display or qt or isolation or whatever please read Mr. Fenner's write up. He goes into detail as to why it works and how Methylene Blue assists in the process.

Please note that I'm only provided the information and not get into which is better or anything else. However, I do use it and it works great for me and my use case.
