I'm almost done with my bottle of metroplex, but I found a bottle of Metro made by Hikari. I intend to use it as a good additive to treat ich. For that purpose, are these the same medication?

The active ingredient is the same but it may have different dosing recommendations. Might take some math to figure out how much to add.

Check the expiration date on that bottle as well.
