Metro

We have tablet form, 200mg/tab. What is the mg/L if possible? And is it safe with inverts?

Q: How much of medication does the included scoop hold?

A: 125 mg

I assume its 125mg for metronidazole, it might be a foolish assumption

cheers

I wouldn't assume that. humble drops by a couple times a day when he's not too busy. He'll come by and give you the correct dosage. I might be able to find it before then and if I do, i'll update you.

usually its 125mg to 250mg per 10 US gallon.

I can't find the link were API general cure ingredients are listed but I'm 99% sure that one sachet contains 250mg of metro and 70mg or 75mg of praziquantel.

please bear with me and let me try to find the link for API general cure ingredients [emoji4]

cheers

When using straight 100% metronidazole powder, I dose 500 mg for every 20-40 gallons (80-160 liters). I typically start on the low end (500 mg per 40 gals), and then slowly ramp it up to 2x that if I'm not seeing positive results from the lower dosage. Too much metro too soon will kill certain fish.

Thanks humble [emoji14] what types of fish are sensitive?

Wrasses immediately come to mind. I've also lost a few dwarf angels & butterflies within 24 hrs after starting out on the high end dosage scale.
