Hi everyone, I am using METRONIDAZOLE powder directly into the food, just as a prevention treatment for my new fish arrival. Fish’s are in a quarantine tank.
My question is: for how long can I feed my fish’s with this medication. Is it possible to oversdosed my fish’s with METRONIDAZOLE??

7days is generally sufficient and can be removed with carbon if you feel too much is in the food. 1/4 teaspoon is adequate for use.
 
Yes! It is possible to over or under dose with metronidazole. Just adding it to food is like your doctor saying, "here, take some of these pills".... you really need to know how many and how often and for how long. Here is an article I wrote up here about this issue:
