I have a clown in my DT recently I've noticed white stringy poop. I picked up some metroplex and focus to soak his food in but I was wondering if I could feed this in my DT? Will it harm coral like my Duncan who likes to catch some food or will it hurt any hermits to eat the leftovers off the sand? @Humblefish

I feed it all the time until @Humblefish suggested the critter could build up an immunity to the metroplex, and that advice and you going forward it not going to hurt the system. Just do not do it all the time.

Thanks jsker I plan on only feeding till his poop looks normal again

I usually go with the "10 day rule" I feed them with it for 10 days and then evaluate their condition at that point and decide if further/different treatment is needed.

@jsker what ratio do you mix the metro and focus? Also how much water to soak the food in?

^^ Just to add to the excellent advice you've already received, run some carbon in a reactor just in case a little bit of the medication leaches out. Probably overkill, but I don't like leaving anything to chance. :)
