Metroplex with hypo

Just curious if you can treat with Metro while doing hypo at the same time. Anyone done it or any advice would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

You probably can but I don't see a reason to do this, since hypo is generally unreliable and ineffective against velvet and other ailments. Copper + Metro combo treats ich, velvet, brook, uronema, and some bacterial infections and would be my recommended course of action.

Thanks for the reply.
So I pulled the trigger and purchased a group of bimac anthias the other day and have them in qt. I always wanted a group of anthias but stayed away from them because of fear of uronema so now I want to make sure I treat properly.
when I got them I did a 35 min formalin bath before they went into qt and now my course of action is to treat for 10 days with metroplex while at hypo to treat for flukes at the same time. This will also keep velvet or ich at bay (if present) till the 10 day is up and then I would treat with copper.
I have CP on hand but have been reading not to use that on them. I would hate to lose them.
what are your thoughts on this plan?

I think it could work but I’d skip hypo unless you know you have Prazi resistant flukes.

I’d use metro for 14 days, at double dose. Start at single dose and double it by day 4 no later.

Feed metro soaked foods, general cure would be better as it contains Prazi and metro. Use focus to bind to the foods. Uronema is also an internal ailment.
