So I have a clownfish that has internal parasites. He is getting skinny and has stringy white poop. He doesn't eat anymore and I haven't seen him eat in a while, prolly 2 weeks. I have a QT tank set up for him and I do have metroplex on hand. Can I dose metroplex in the water to get rid of internal parasites rather than food soak? I already tried feeding him the metroplex soaked foods, but he won't eat. How long should he be in QT for internal parasites? I already QTed him with copper and hypo for 2 months when I first got him.

Internal parasites can be tough at times. Metro is fine in the QT water, but some parasites are a bit resistant to Metro. So consider using General Cure. It contains both Metro and Praziquantel. So parasites might be resistant to one or the other of these, but not both. Easy to use plus you don't have to deal with the O2 problem from liquid Prazipro when using GC. Still a good idea though to run a powerhead aimed up at the surface actively rippling the water to increase O2. With GC dose and then wait 5-7 days. Then do a 25% water change and redose. Then wait 5-7 days and then do a 25% water change. Then observe for 7-10 days as sometimes with stubborn parasitic conditions, a second round is needed.
