Mexican Turbo Snail poop

Hi guys

We have Mexican Turbo snail in our tank and we love him, but... He poops like a horse!
His large black droppings are all over the sandbed. I tried to syphon it, but syphon is unable to lift it.
We have two Python syphons - medium and large, and neither of them can lift it up.
It just get mixed up with sand and stays in the tank...

Probably silly question but what people do with it?
Should I be worried that it will pollute our system and cause high nitrates?
Other aesthetically unpleasing - any downsides of it staying in the tank?
Any CUC members which would consume it?

If you find snail poop collecting, that is a sign of way too little flow. It won't really make much in terms of waste numbers so it really isn't a problem on that end.

A lot of tanks have good flow but have certain spots where waste settles. Why won't the siphons get it- I've never used Pythons but they're supposed to be good. Can always just use just the hose part without the cylinder and suck up a tiny bit of sand with it if you're careful

My python isn't all too powerful, just convenient for water changes.

Get an electric pump on Amazon. I got this one & it is great, I use it for everything
