I never thought I would say this but apparently I'm a horrible snail keeper. I purchased 6 turbo snails from a online site. All arrived alive. I acclimated them to the sheet. Now about 3 weeks later all but 1 have died. I have a huge algae hair issue so I know they have food. I didn't know they can't turn their selves up right. Any one have this issue or just me

I don’t think that’s you.

How many were in the bag? Was it a small bag?

How did you acclimate ?

And yes that can turn themselves over easily fwiw.

I’d wager they weren’t in the best shape.

Do not buy Mexican Turbo snails, they come from temperate waters and do not last long in 78-80 degree tanks.

Could be. I run 77 ish and rarely 80 excepting summer.
But I’ve had some for years. Mine are really fresh. Only a few hundred miles or so from me. I’m often third in the supply chain and they get here in a truck. Farmer, truck, lfs , me. Somtimes farmer drives the truck.

Well all died but 1... so far might I add the most gagging smell I ever smelled worse then a dead frog on the hot pavement. Neighbors think I'm on drugs. I just had to keep the dang shells. Well going outside with tongs n a paper plate to let them sun bleach
Then I realized the zip loc baggy I placed in the trash cans outside was coming in tho my windows. So I moved thrash down 4 days early. They called my landlord asking if I was okay... landlord does not know I have a tank...
