My Mg occasionally becomes slightly low (1200 ppm) as I dose Aquaforest components 123+ and do not perform WCs.
I wonder if there is an advantage, short or long-term, of the Tropic Marine "Bio-Magnesium" that has a carbon-based anion instead of Cl- ?

I think Lou Ekus went over this with me once, but I cannot recall the answer.
In any case, an organic anion is definitely highly undesirable for any boost larger than the daily demand because it will boost alk by 23 dKH for each 100 ppm dosed (once the organic is metabolized).
