MH 10k

Hello. I have 10k MH as stated above, and I am not happy with the colors I have been getting. Every coral I buy seems to lose color within minutes of entering my tank. I am wondering if there are better types of MH that will produce better color?
If anyone does have 10k MH Can you post pic of your coral colors to see if they match mine?

Yes, 14k or 20k mh

Which one between the two are better for growth and which ones better for color?

14k for growth, 20k for color. I would reccomend and LED or T-5 actinict accent to really get the color pop you want.

my favorite bulb is a Phoenix 14k, its white with a blue hue, its probably closer to a 20k bulb. They can be bought for around $50 each

Actinic lighting does the most for corals
