Mh 150 hqi too much for chaeto

just wondering if a metal halide 150 is too much for chaeto in a fuge to grow or if it would work

I know leds are usually the preferred method but I have access to a 150 pendant for a good price and I am wondering if it would have the right spectrum or if it would be over kill

It will work but wow is that an expensive fuge light. I grew all the chaeto I could handle under a 100w 6500 light bulb.

Found a pendant used for $40 that’s why I am asking
