MH ballast question

I have a ballast for a HPS bulb I used to use on my farm. It says MH also. Can I use any MH bulb with this ballast as long as it's 400w?

I never knew they made such an animal but I guess you can use this ballast for both applications

Would be interesting to check out. I know these are used with certain bulbs such as sodium and grow bulbs but I don't know about the dimming feature as the correct starting voltage and regulates the current going to the bulb during operation, and I don't believe HQI would work leaving the mogul. (which I personally love)
