MH Free Floating Canopy Pics?

Hello There,

I just got a new tank (Red Sea Reefer 250, in the end) and am in the process of slowly building it out.

Per previous threads, I've chosen two MH pendants as my lighting source.

And then comes the issue with VR28woman........ can we mount them attractively?

I am proposing keeping the MH's maybe 12 inches above the top. I'd keep like the pendants covered - either fully or partially - by a canopy. The simplest would be just short box of painted wood covering the pendants.

Does anyone have any pictures of their free floating canopies for a MH?

Looks like you have it mostly solved. However, when you are building, keep room for a sizeable fan... I mean like a Honeywell or Vornado. A REAL fan alone can keep almost any tank cool. Computer fans, even nice high CFM ones, are toys compared to these fans. Good luck.
