Mh light ballast question

I'm looking at a 6ft fixture that has 3 175 mh in it, but since its a 180 gallon tank I'm going to be setting up, could I swap out the ballast with 250 watt ballast? My biggest concern is since the fixture was build for 175 watt, is it going to be ok for the 250's?

Not only will it need new ballasts but you will need to swap out the bases that the bulbs go into as well.

well that solves that

Im just worried that 175 watt metal halides wont be enough to get down to teh bottom of a 180 with out adding a ton of other lights
