MH question

So I have a selectable ballast. 250 se, 250de, 400se, 400de. I have 400w bullbs in 3 units. I have some heat issues when they are on. Will it hurt the bulbs to run them at the 250 se setting for a few days if im out of town? Would it be any cooler. I know it will fire them. I ran it overnight that way the first time I put the bulbs in. If not I can leave them off for 3 days I guess.

Just run the middle one and the other two off.

You can leave them off for couple days if you decide to go that rpute but your tank may be dependent on the mh to keep the tank temp up

Not all on the same tank. I had actually thought about that. The tank that has more of the temp issues has a 1000 watt heater though

you can leave the lights off no harm.
