How long should you wait for a missing Anemone before you start looking??

I added 3 Aneomnes in my tank. The 2 smallers ones are good but the big one is missing . 2/3rd of my tank have rocks and the last time I seen it was a couple days ago.

Have you experiences any trouble with water quality during these days? They can - do not ask me why - sometimes decide that a cave is better than out in the light.

sincerely Lasse

Ive battled with qater quility but now have it dialed in.

2 of the 3 are visable but the largest one is still missing and Im debating on doing another water change and start taking down the rocks to find it. Or should I wait it out

With the water quality question I was trying to exclude a death of the anemone. If it has died or will die then it should be reflected in the quality of water IMO. Milky water or/and PO4 or/and NO3 shock. If not - it is likely alive and if you pick it up - it will travel back again. How large is the aquarium? If it was me - I should not do anything in this moment more than carefully observe the tank and take action if something indicate that it is dead. But you must take the decision based on your own observations - not my recomandations

Sincerely Lasse
