Mico bubbles!

Oh my gosh...out of nowhere they have gotten real bad.

Nothing's changed, the tank is 3 months old and was looking wonderful.

Now the water looks hazy due to them. Yes, the carbon is fresh, only 1 week old with GFO.

Where should I start looking? The return pump needs cleaning or the powerheads??

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

lOOK AT YOUR SKIMMER AND RETURN PUMP. . . THE COMPONENTS THAT WILL CAUSE THIS.

Thanks...a few minutes ago I remembered I had lowered the water in the skimmer by a half turn of the gate valve so I just set it back.

And just for grins and giggles I turned off the powerheads to see if they might be the culprit.

I'll pull out the return pump tomorrow and give it a good cleaning.
