Ok, guys, here is my observation.
I can't get my canister filter to stop releasing micro air bubbles. So for a day or 2, it has continued releasing air bubbles, I find my zoas actually liking it. They are looking very fluffy, open wide and stand tall. Some zoas that used to look flat are now having long neck. I think the theory is that air bubbles increase PH and corals love it. Anyone has the same observation about air bubbles?

Do you have pictures before/after?
If not, at least a picture of how they're looking now?
I would say that too many bubbles will actually irritate the zoas.
Some of them will release mucus against the excess of bubbles.
Do you see bubbles on the "neck"? Mucus around the zoas?
How is the pH now and what was it before? Any significant increase?
What type of zoas are you talking about, please?

Grandis.

Do u run a skimmer? Is it a possability that your tank was running at a low oxygen level. And the added agitation has increased the oxygen present in the water.

Maybe there was lower oxygen in your tank prior and now you are oxygenating them more...
