I have a small in tank refugium with chaeto. It is starting to turn white in some places. Could this be too much or too little light? Or not enough flow?

It's continuing to turn white. Hope someone has some insight soon! I'm going to try moving it around.

I use a lowes 3700k led light with a pwr head to have flow and my chaeto is growing like a weed. Started with a softball size amount and in 3 weeks prolly has tripled in size

its dying off, looks like not enough light, and not enough flow.

It appears fine in the pic. If it's turning yellow and soft, it's dying. How are you lighting it? Same as tank lights?

Not enough light. Looking at the light and where it hits, it is greenest where it appears the light is the strongest. And the light basically isn't penetrating the plant canopy (deep into the ball and at the bottom, your getting pretty much nothing)..

Not enough light.

Yea, since I am still working on upgrading the display tank and sump it is being lit by the tank light. Fluval led 25 watts. I will move it around for more light and flow.

Thanks everyone for your insight!
