i am have a problem with lots of micro bubbles coming out of my returns. i have a 125 gall with a sump, asm 2 skimmer and a mag 18 return pump. i have a sponge in the chamber of the sump and a sponge on the return pump. this is a new system. i thought it was from the skimmer breaking in but i have the skimmer off right now for treatmet on a fish and the bubbles are still there. they are real tiny and make they water look like crap. please help i am very frustrated any suggestions will help thank u

try and put something under were the water comes out of ur skimmer to deflect it from splashing. maybe a sponge or a piece of acrylic at an angle.

would need more details and maybe some pictures of the sump, return and drain.

with out any of the info i could say , slow down the return some and see what happens.

it looks like the bubbles are coming from when the water dumps in the sump into the media bag it is a cheap 100 micron bag would it help to go with like 200 micron bag? the bag that is in their now is really thin and when the water hits it it bounces around. it was the bag that came with the sump.
